The brewing company AB InBev Efes has received approval for the import of bottling equipment from the Chinese company Hefei Zhongchen, according to data from Rosaccreditation. The company confirmed its intentions for a complete modernization of its production facilities.
💰 Investments in the upgrade will amount to approximately 6 billion rubles by the end of 2025, with a focus on increasing the production of non-alcoholic beverages.
"We have already launched new equipment with a capacity of up to 3 million hectoliters per year and plan to implement seven more projects by the end of 2025," said a representative of AB InBev Efes.
💭 Experts believe that the modernization is driven by a decrease in beer demand due to rising prices, a cold summer, and an increased interest in non-alcoholic products.
We would like to remind you that Chinese companies with beverage production equipment participate annually in the BeviTec exhibition, and in 2026, even more representatives from China are expected! 🇨🇳
